Closing remarks on the occasion of the Closing Ceremony of the World Education Forum 2015
As a public good for the benefit of humanity, together we must ensure that education helps to encourage open, friendly and honest dialogue amongst all people everywhere. We must celebrate the trans-formational power of education and make sure that we offer educational opportunities to every girl and boy, woman and man; and that we provide also equality of opportunity for those who have, and those who are less advantaged. Finally, we must reinforce the fact that without education there can be no peace, no development, nor the fulfillment of human rights. Without innovative and relevant quality education there can be no sustainable development, nor can there be employment opportunities for today's youth in tomorrow's green economy.
